Privacy
What this site collects, and what it doesn't.
Last updated: September 2026
This is a personal portfolio. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms, and the site itself is a set of static files with no server behind it. Two analytics tools count visits anonymously. That is the whole list.
Analytics
Two tools run here, Vercel Analytics and Umami, and both only ever count in aggregate: which pages are visited, which site referred you, roughly how long a page stayed open, the approximate city a visit came from, and what kind of browser and device you used. Neither sets a cookie, neither gives you a persistent identifier, and neither can follow you to any other site.
Umami decides that a visit is unique by hashing your IP address together with your browser's user agent and a salt that is rotated regularly. The hash cannot be reversed, and the IP address it was made from is discarded rather than stored. That is why neither tool needs a consent banner: nothing is written to your device, so there is nothing to consent to.
It does not record what you type, does not replay your session, and does not build a profile of you. The data is not sold or passed to an advertising network.
If you would rather it did not run, browser tracking protection or any standard content blocker will stop it, and the site works exactly the same without it.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address in its server logs in order to deliver the page to you.
Typefaces are compiled into the site at build time and served from this domain. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts, and Google receives nothing about your visit.
The contact links open your own mail app. If you write to me, your message and address travel through your mail provider and arrive in my inbox, where I use them only to reply. I do not add anyone to a mailing list.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to how it is processed. In practice there is very little to request: the analytics here are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you individually, so I could not single out your data even if asked. The one identifiable record is your IP address in Vercel's server logs, which is best directed to Vercel using the link above.
For anything else, or if you are unsure where to start, email me and I will help.
